Anthony, with roots in Persian heritage, has made a significant mark as a principal dentist in New Zealand and Australia since completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997 at the University of Otago. Renowned for his thorough, caring, and patient-oriented approach, he excels at making even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2015 with his family, Anthony is deeply committed to the principles of the Baha'i Faith, promoting unity in diversity. Outside his professional pursuits, he cherishes time with his family, gardening, playing badminton, and exploring new cultures, reflecting his profound appreciation for the world's diverse tapestry.

Chintan has been practising dentistry for more than a decade now. Chintan graduated from dental school in India in 2006. During his studies, he developed a deep interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. After practising dentistry for three years in India, he moved to Australia and served as a senior dental officer in Goondiwindi for Queensland Health until 2012. He then joined Optima Dental Care as a senior associate dentist in Gladstone, where he earned the title of “Gentle Dentist” in the local community.
Apart from general dentistry, he has undertaken extensive training in implants, invisible orthodontics (clear braces), anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and cosmetic smile makeovers. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise, walks to watch the sunrise with his family, and learning new technology in dentistry.

What should I expect at a dentist’s clinic?

At our dental clinic in Woombye, you will be met with friendly staff that will ask general questions and start off with basic procedures before the dentist visits you and performs the more complex procedures.
At the end of your appointment, you’ll be educated on how to take care of your teeth and manage discomfort, and a date and time will be set for the next visit.
How often should I visit the dentist in Woombye?
At Hinterland View Dental we recommend two visits a year to the dentist, six months apart. If you have a mouth full of healthy teeth and gums and the perfect smile, you could get away with yearly visits but no rarer than that. Visits to the dentist are important to identify and treat problems before they affect your lifestyle or overall health.
How to prepare for a dentist visit.
When you’re visiting Hinterland View Dental please make sure you bring along documents that identify your overall health conditions (medicines, allergies) and your previous dental treatment records.
Take travelling time into consideration and allow for some delays getting to our clinic. It is better to be a few minutes early than be late. Also, rushing from place to place causes needless anxiety.
Clean your mouth well but if there is something you want us to take a look at (such as an infected site) please don’t disturb it.
